I stumbled on a way to change my username at startrek. Here's a program i wrote that'll do it for you:

There's a good chance that they'll fix it so you can't change your username though. So if you want to change your username, the sooner the better B)

There's not much trickery involved. Their site simply allows it. It doesn't make the option visible on their webpage. You can still send the command to change the username though. It won't let you change your username to one that's already taken. That was the first thing I tried. For the most part, the whole ability is useless to me but I know some people wanted to be able to do it. I don't see why they don't allow username changes except they are too lazy to add a couple lines of code to their site.

hmm looks like they patched it so that you can't change your username anymore that way anyway. Hopefully someone got some use out of it. If not, ahh well you snooze you lose I guess heh
