Well, the glory boys at CERN have just announced that they think they have discovered a real live sub-atomic Higgs bosun particle...you know, the little guy that's theorized to be the factor that allows proto-matter to take on mass and gives it substance? Imagine a universe that spontaneously created itself, entirely without the services of a so-called 'god'!
This idea has been around since the 60's, of course, but if true, it definitely puts us one step ahead of the religious zealots who, try as they might to rationalize the whole thing, can only ever have INFERRED the existence of 'god'.
Ultimately however, science has the very same limitation as does religion; we're just guessing! Even after all this time, man doesn't really know SHIT about anything!
