I don't know if anyone noticed that I had a countdown clock on this site. I think I had it counting down to in the middle of next month in whatever month it happened to be. So every month the countdown timer would reset to the next month. Anyway I was hoping that people would be paranoid and speculate a lot about what was going to happen when it reached zero. But I did not see any of that. So I took it down.
I wasn't actually planning on doing anything. Though I can't say I won't post at startrek.com again even though I'm used to not going there now and don't miss the place I might get bored and post there again someday. Who knows
But in the meantime I think their support team has wasted about the same amount of cumulative time deleting my posts and editing their site as the amount of time that I spent making my thousands of posts that they deleted. Plus with their confirmation image thing (which I assume they still have?) activity on their boards has probably been pretty stunted from that too. So overall I'm pretty satisfied that justice was served here.
