My last board did not work out and was shut down.
Here's what they told me
Anyway I think this site is still needed, people just don't quite realize it yet. There are forums out there for banned startrek.com members to retreat to, forums where general star trek community outcasts go, plus plenty of other star trek community forums out there, but there's no forum out there which specifically protests startrek.com handling of their boards in the manner that it should be protested.
Here's a recent threatening reply from the star trek team when one member requested another member be unbanned:
Jaw dropping. In communities like youtube for example I know people bombard youtube's support team with protest e-mails when someone gets wrongfully banned in order to make them listen. If anything the youtube teams appreciate this kind of passion for other community members. This shows that admins do not care about what the star trek community thinks, they simply have no voice in the matter. I'm not sure which is more pathetic the startrek.com admins themselves or the sheep that continue to whine to them even though they haven't said a word back for like 3 months now.
